ARS collision comes from a rich history of classic and kit cars. Originally managed under Richard Paris in the eighties, the shop restored historic cars and entered them into prestigious car shows around Southern California.

Since then the shop has continued to provide excellent service. Take a look at some of the historic cars we've brought back to life and get a sense of our history.

FAQ

First and foremost is your health and the health of the passengers. If you are physically fine, get to safety and call the police. Exchange information with the other person involved in the accident (Full name and contact information, Insurance company and policy number, Driver's license and license plate number and Type, color and model of vehicle) without discussing who is at fault. Document the process by taking lots of pictures and getting a copy of the police report and witness information. Then notify your insurance company start the claims process. Location of accident)

Section 758.5 of the California Insurance Code, however, prohibits auto insurance companies from forcing or requiring customers to have their vehicles repaired at a specific facility, as the state law considers it an 'inherently unfair practice.

Existing law makes an insurer that is responsible for reasonable towing and storage charges liable to the person providing those services, as specified. This bill would define reasonable charges for these purposes and would provide a list of fees that are presumptively unreasonable.

A deductible is the out of pocket expense you agree to pay per loss before any payment from the insurance company is distributed. Deductibles range from $0 - $2,000, but limits of $250, $500 or $1,000 are most common. So, if you have a $500 deductible and the estimated cost of repairs to your vehicle total $2,000, you would owe $500 to the repair facility before your insurance will send the remaining $1,500 their way.

We are required by law to keep you in the loop of the vehicle repair process and only do work that has been authorized by the vehicle owner. It is hard to know whether our repairs are faulty without looking at the car again or if it is an adjacent problem. We often try to point out these issues ahead of time, but in case we don't spot an issue, we'll take a look.

80% of our repairs take 3-5 business days. Depending on the extent of damage to your vehicle we might need to take 2-3 more days to bring your car to ARS standard. We will provide you with a estimated period of time for the repairs upon closer inspection of the vehicle.

Fixed estimates can not be given in restoration work because until the car is completely stripped it's hard to tell how much damage to the body is hiding underneath the paint job. Once we see the car in person, we'll be able to provide a ballpark figure, but even that is subject to change based on parts availability or other unforeseen circumstances.
